Adwords Conversion Tracking
If you reached our website via a Google advertisement, a cookie will be placed on your computer via Google Adwords Conversion Tracking. It remains valid for 30 days. To the extent you visit certain AuPair World pages whilst the cookie is valid, both we and Google are able to see that you have clicked on the ad and were directed to the site. In this manner, we learn how many users have clicked on our advertisements. You may prevent the recording of this data by deactivating the automatic placement of cookies in your browser settings for http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html. Data protection information from Google on conversion tracking may be found here.
We additionally utilise Alexa, a service of Alexa Internet, Inc. This service uses so-called tracking pixels with which user behaviour is analysed on an anonymous basis. Information on your browser, date and time of your visit to our site, sites visited and the website from which you were referred to our page, as well as your anonymised IP Address are analysed. If you do not wish your behaviour to be analysed, please follow the instructions provided on this website: http://www.alexa.com/settings/optout
AuPairWorld uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
In case IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated within the area of Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the whole IP address will be first transfered to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP anonymisation is active on this website.
This website uses the anonymisation functionality of Google Analytics, so the last digits of your IP address will automatically be truncated.
This website uses the web analysis service Hotjar. Hotjar is a European company based in Malta (Hotjar Ltd, Level 2, St Julians Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julians STJ 1000, Malta, Europe). With Hotjar we analyse movements on our site, for example, mouse-overs, scrolling and clicking. So-called heatmaps are created from this. With these heatmaps it is possible to optimise the site and improve user experience. In addition, we are able to gather direct user feedback and therefore further enhance user-friendliness. The following data is collected by Hotjar:
- Anonymised IP address,
- Size of visitor’s screen,
- Type of device (smartphone, computer) and browser used,
- Country of visitor,
- Set language settings.

With your consent, when you start your visit to our website, we apply the "Facebook Pixel" of Facebook Inc. 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). You may only declare your consent to the application of the pixel if you are older than 13 years of age. If you are younger than 13 years of age, we request that you ask your parent or guardian for permission.
With this pixel, we can track the actions of users after they have seen or clicked on a Facebook advertisement. This enables us to check the effectiveness of our Facebook advertisements. The recorded data we receive is anonymous and no longer traceable to any individual user. The data itself is processed by Facebook. Facebook uses the data for its own purposes such as advertising, for example, in accordance with its own data protection guidelines (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). We use a so-called tracking pixel in order to be able to make statements about the usage of e-mails sent by AuPairWorld. This tracking pixel enables the user behaviour to be evaluated anonymously.
