- You are 18 - 30 years old.
- You are single and have no children.
- You want to stay with a Swedish family for a maximum of 12 months.
- You are currently living in a country other than Sweden and are not a Swedish citizen.
- You are interested in Swedish culture and have at least rudimentary knowledge of the Swedish language that you can demonstrate.
- You have sufficient financial resources to pay for your trip to Sweden.

- You will help your au pair find a language course that fits with the working times in your family.
- You speak Swedish in your everyday family life.
- You are not related to your au pair and do not have the same nationality.
