AuPairWorld has launched a new platform that makes finding the right au pair or host family safer, more personal and easier to manage, from the first contact request to confirming a placement.
A new AuPairWorld platform is now available
All new users will now be redirect to register on the new platform, so the community there will grow over the coming weeks, while the previous platform will gradually see less activity until it is completely shut down at the end of 2026.
During this transition period, both platforms will be available, so you may see two options when you register or log in. Find out why you should try our new platform.
What’s new on AuPairWorld?
The new platform is designed to make it easier and safer for au pairs and host families to find the right match and manage their journey inside AuPairWorld.
- Safer connections with ID and phone verification. On the new AuPairWorld platform, phone and ID verification is mandatory for everyone. This reduces the risk of fake profiles and build trust for a more reliable match.
- More personalized suggestions for you. The new platform shows personalized suggestions based on personal preferences, hobbies and practical criteria. More profiles will appear as new members who match your search join the community.
- Profile videos for short introduction. Au pairs and host families can now add an optional video of up to 2 minutes to show more of their personality to potential matches.
- Manage more of your search in one place. Now you’ll be able to easily see what the next steps on your journey are and take them inside the platform, without having to exchange contact details on the first message.
- Integrated video call feature. Now au pairs and host families who would like to get to know each other better can schedule an initial video call inside the platform, which makes the match process safer and faster to everyone.
Which platform should I use?
- New to AuPairWorld? Register on the new platform.
- Already a user? You choose which one to use. Note that new users will only be available in the new platform as well as the Premium Upgrade.
- Premium Member? If you have a premium account on the current platform, but you would like to switch to the new one, no worries. The premium membership is attached to your e-mail and will still be valid in the new platform.
If you already have a profile on AuPairWorld, the best platform for you depends mainly on where you are in your search.
Continue on the previous platform if you:
- already have ongoing conversations with potential au pairs or host families;
- are discussing the details of a possible stay;
- found someone you may want to match with.
Your existing messages, contacts and matches will remain on the previous platform, so if you’re already well into your search, it may make sense to continue there.
Consider moving to the new platform if you:
- registered recently on AuPairWorld;
- are still at the beginning of your search;
- don’t yet have important ongoing conversations or a potential match.
The new platform offers a more modern and personalised matching experience, with profile suggestions based on a broader range of criteria to help you find the right match.
What happens to my Premium Membership if I move to the new platform?
Having a Premium Membership doesn’t mean you have to stay on the previous platform.
If you decide to move to the new platform, your Premium Membership will move with you, so you can continue using your Premium benefits there. Simply sign in to the new platform using the same email address and complete the new profile sections to get started.
How do I move my account to the new platform?
No worries, you won't start from scratch.
- Sign in to the new platform using the same email address as your current account.
- Choose texts and pictures of your profile you would like to transfer to the new platform.
- Follow the guided steps to review your profile and add any missing details.
Please note: your existing messages, contacts and matches are not transferred. They stay on your current AuPairWorld.
