User wishes drove the system relaunch
The wishes and feedback of AuPairWorld users were the key driving force behind the development of the platform's new features and capabilities. Throughout the development process, the IT team paid close attention to user suggestions. At the top of the list were expanded search filter functionality and better integration of the different elements involved in the matching process.
What has changed
Improved EasyFind and a new Dashboard
With the relaunch, the EasyFind search and match area was updated and combined with other core user functions into a new, streamlined Dashboard. This made it easier for users to manage the host family and au pair profiles shown in their search results.
More powerful and flexible search filters
A wider range of filters was introduced, allowing users to fine-tune their search in more detail. These filters could now be applied directly, delivering real-time updates to search results for a smoother, more dynamic user experience.
Integrated Messenger with focused communication
The AuPairWorld Messenger was also integrated into the new Dashboard, providing users with faster access to their messages and enabling more efficient communication. At the same time, a new messaging restriction was introduced: Users can now only send messages to au pairs or host families that appear in their EasyFind. This change was implemented in response to repeated requests from families and helps to reduce unwanted or spam-like messages—making the communication process more relevant and focused for everyone.
New activity labels
To help users better understand how active other users are, the relaunch also introduced activity labels. These labels show whether a profile has been recently active on the platform, helping families and au pairs focus on users who are currently engaged in the search process.
