Do you hold Swiss citizenship, have a C permit (for "settled foreign nationals") or a B EU/EFTA permit (for "resident foreign nationals")?
Is your au pair going to be looking after your children and taking care of light household tasks?
Do you have good knowledge of the language spoken in your region?
Are you of a different nationality and do you speak a different language to that of your au pair?
Is at least one of the parents predominantly at home and can support the au pair during at least half of their working hours?
Will you allow your au pair time to attend a language course and will you cover the costs of the course?
