Already at the beginning of 2013, Regenbogen passed on management responsibility at AuPairWorld GmbH to two new managing directors, Heike Fischer and Ann-Kristin Cohrs. Now comes the next step with Regenbogen‘s resignation as managing director of the sister company AuPairWorld Local Services GmbH & Co. KG and the naming of Andreas Freund as this company‘s new managing director. With this second step, Uwe Regenbogen is saying farewell to the au pair industry.

In 1999 Regenbogen had a vision: “My goal was to make self-matching the standard for au pairs and host families so that each of these groups could have a wider range of choices with less expense. To make this work, people needed trust and security. With clear and transparent rules for the au pair stay, thoroughly checked profiles and excellent customer service we have been able to give our customers the trust and security they desire. And this finally is what has made us the market leader in the field today.”

Heike Fischer has an optimistic view of the company‘s future: “AuPairWorld is on the right track. Today any young person or family can search for and find a host family or an au pair at – simply, safely and inexpensively. With our first-rate staff and our experienced management team we are well positioned to successfully handle the challenges we‘ll be facing in the future.”

Ann-Kristin Cohrs has this to add: “Our aim is to confirm the trust customers have in the company in everything that we do each day so that more and more people can directly experience the benefits of the au pair idea. Our customers are our ambassadors. In the coming years we‘ll be looking forward to developing many new services and products to help au pairs and host families with all aspects of the au pair stay as well as to entering into new markets.”

Ann-Kristin Cohrs (34) is an accredited translator and has a Master‘s degree in German as a foreign language. Cohrs has been with AuPairWorld since 2007 and has been responsible for web content and customer support as managing director since 2013. She has two young children and will soon have an au pair at home as well.

Heike Fischer (40) has a degree in business management. She has been with AuPairWorld since 2009 and has been responsible for business affairs, administration and software development as managing director since 2013.

Andreas Freund (50) has extensive experience in marketing and communication in international business in various industries. Prior to assuming his new position as managing director, he was responsible for marketing and communication at AuPairWorld.
