We apply a variety of measures to ensure the quality and reliability of the users' data presented in profiles on AuPairWorld. These checks are performed both automatically and manually by qualified manpower behind the scenes:
We check the completeness and plausibility of profiles.
We do random checks and are continuously developing new procedures for more effective random checking.
In many cases, we request a proof of identity from users for verification purposes.
Only the profiles of those au pairs and host families, who are currently seeking a match are indicated in the search results (i.e. of users, who have logged in within the last 14 days, who regularly answered their messages and who have chosen a future start date).
In cases of doubt, we contact users directly and ask for further information (for example in the event of unusual user conduct).
We remove profiles which indicate that the users do not accept the basic idea of au pairing (i.e. combining childcare and cultural exchange for the mutual benefit of au pair and host family).
For reasons of security and data protection, we delete profiles which have been inactive for several months.
We always have an open door for your security concerns. Should a particular profile seem odd to you, you can always contact us or inform us about a specific profile by selecting the 'Report profile' function in your options. We will then check the corresponding profile for you.
