AuPairWorld is supporting SOS Children's Villages and regional organisations in Kassel

At Christmas, we are pleased to be able to share our success with others and this year we are again supporting the work of SOS Children's Villages.

We are impressed by the work SOS Children's Villages has been doing for many years and by their family-orientated approach to helping children and young people.

We found their work supporting education in Africa particularly inspiring. Finishing school successfully is the foundation for positive individual development and better opportunities in adult life. Education provides a reliable path out of poverty and is a focal point of the worldwide engagement of SOS Children's Villages. Their educational offerings – including kindergartens, schools and vocational training centres – are a significant, and often the only, chance for education for many young people. Since education is also a particular concern of AuPairWorld, we are supporting the project "Education for a better future in Africa" and have made a donation of €4000 to the German chapter of SOS Children's Villages.

In addition, we want to be engaged on a more local basis. To this end, we are supporting the activities of the Kassel football club "SV Harleshausen" with €600 and the children's daycare centre "Schwälmer Zwerge" with €400.
