Wanted: The AuPairWorld Influencer!

Are you a digital native and using TikTok, Instagram and YouTube as simply as you do your tootbrush? Are you happy to be in front of the camera and do you already have some experience making your own videos? Then maybe you're exactly the person we're looking for!

Whether you're a well-established social media pro or just getting started with a few followers – if you're a positive and open person and enjoy sharing your au pair adventure with others, then why not take the step and apply as the AuPairWorld Influencer!

What exactly will the AuPairWorld Influencer do?

As the AuPairWorld Influencer, you'll be sharing insights and experiences from your au pair stay for approximately 6 months. You'll be taking others along on your au pair adventure – reporting in YouTube videos, short TikToks and Instagram posts about everything from your search for a host family, to your daily life as an au pair, to your return home and your time directly after the stay.

Requirements for the job:

You enjoy working with Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
You are already an au pair and will be staying for a few more months with your host family

What we're offering:

1,000 EUR travel budget
The reach of the AuPairWorld platform

How to apply:

Step 1

Make a short video where you introduce yourself and tell us why you would be the right influencer for us. Feel free to be creative! Tell us where you're from and how long your au pair stay will continue.

Step 2

Send your video to us by email at contest@aupairworld.com. Don't forget to tell us your existing social media accounts so that we can take a look at what you've already been posting.

Your To-Dos as the AuPairWorld Influencer:

Instagram

Per week: 2-3 Insta posts/stories on your account

Tiktok

Per week: 2-3 TikToks on your channel

Youtube Video

Per month: 2 videos (one for your channel, one for AuPairWorld)

The contest begins on 28 January and ends on 20 February 2022. All video submissions that are especially nice will be presented on the AuPairWorld social media channels. The winner will be announced at the end of February/beginning of March.

Contest rules - AuPairWorld Influencer
- All au pairs (current and former) are eligible for participation, except for AuPairWorld employees and their families. Participation of minors requires written approval by their parents or legal guardians.
- This contest has no relation to Instagram or TikTok, nor is it funded, supported or organised by Instagram or TikTok.
- Only holders of social media profiles accessible to the public may participate in the contest.
- AuPairWorld only accepts videos in line with our Contest Rules and the requested information (see contest description).
- In sharing submissions (photos, text, videos) with AuPairWorld by email, you give AuPairWorld your consent (which may be revoked at any time) to make further use of the content on the AuPairWorld website and social media channels. This consent may be revoked with future effect at any time by e-mail, phone or letter using the contact information as presented in AuPairWorld's Legal Information. The provisions of your consent can be called up at any time on this internet page.
- The contest starts on 24 January and ends on 20 February 2022.
- Participants have no automatic right that their photos/videos will be published.
- Participants confirm that they hold the exclusive rights for all photos/videos submitted. AuPairWorld reserves the right not to publish unsuitable submissions as well as submissions for which the submitting participant does not have the full and exclusive rights.
- Participants confirm that consent has been obtained from and for any person appearing in photos/filmed material. AuPairWorld will assume no responsibility for claims of third parties.
- Participants agree that AuPairWorld may publish their photos or videos on the AuPairWorld website.
- Winners have no right to a substitution, supplement or cash equivalence for any of the awarded prizes.
- The winner will be informed at the end of February/beginning of March via Instagram, TikTok or email. If a notified winner does not respond within ten days, then their status as winner will be forfeited and a substitute winner will be selected.
- AuPairWorld reserves the right to alter and modify conditions or rules of participation as well as to change or correct the number of weekly winners. No legal recourse will be allowed.
- In the event of disputes, German law shall apply exclusively. As far as legally permissible, the registered office of AuPairWorld GmbH is agreed as the place of jurisdiction. If the participant does not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany or moves his/her residence abroad after participation, the registered office of AuPairWorld GmbH is also agreed as the place of jurisdiction.

We received more than 2,000 photos in our #aupairingis Instagram contest – over 2,000 glimpses into the exciting lives of real au pairs as they travel the world.

We wanted to find out: What is au pairing really like for you? With the hashtag #aupairingis we received loads of pictures on Instagram highlighting different aspects of the au pair stay: travel, cultural exchange, fun, family, friends, language learning. One thing is definitely clear: An au pair stay is an unforgettable adventure for now and forever!

AuPairWorld anniversary competition

More than 100 imaginative submissions reached us from au pairs and host families around the world. We uploaded the pictures to galleries on our Facebook page.

Working with the motto "AuPairWorld around the globe", we started a photo contest for the 15th anniversary of AuPairWorld. What we asked for was this: Send us a photo of you as an au pair or host family that includes a typical landmark of your city or location and a connection to AuPairWorld.
