You are a citizen of one of the following countries:
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, Chile, China, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong (HKSAR), Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Peru, the Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, USA, Uruguay or Vietnam
You are single and do not have any children
You have a good knowledge of English
You have at least 4,200 NZD in your bank account
You can cover your own travel cost
You have never been approved for a Working Holiday visa before

Evaluation:

Do you meet all of these requirements? Congratulations! You comply with the most important regulations to become an au pair in New Zealand and spend a great time with your host family. As there is no official au pair programme in New Zealand, we recommend you to apply for the Working Holiday visa.

Do you miss any of these requirements? In this case, you are unfortunately not eligible to become an au pair in New Zealand.
