Certificate of Au Pair Stay: How to document an au pair stay
The Certificate of Au Pair Stay lets au pairs and host families provide each other with a written confirmation that an au pair stay arranged via AuPairWorld has taken place. The certificate states when and where and for how long the au pair placement occurred with the names of the participating au pair and host family. This certificate can be downloaded here.
Users can download the Certificate of Stay document, fill it out directly on the computer and then print a copy. To do this you need to have Adobe Reader installed on your computer, which can be downloaded here free of charge.

Recognition of the Au Pair Certificate
This certificate of an au pair stay is a general template. You should clarify in advance if a particular institution that is requesting proof of an au pair stay will accept this certificate for its purposes.
As additional documentation of an au pair stay, the au pair can also make use of the au pair contract, a certificate of attendance from the language course, or an au pair reference from the host family.
Can AuPairWorld certify my au pair stay?
AuPairWorld is an Internet platform for the self-directed arrangement of au pair placements by au pairs and host families. As such, it is not a party to the agreements that are made between au pairs and host families and is not in a position to confirm that an au pair stay has in fact occurred. This confirmation is based on the statements of the parties listed in the Certificate of Au Pair Stay (the au pair and host family). In this respect, the Certificate functions like the au pair contract itself. It is obviously most authoritative when prepared with actual signatures of the au pair and host family.
